There are plenty of ways it can be installed - stacked with its matching dryer, under a counter, freestanding, or on the optional pedestal. This last option includes 7 inch drawers which can be used as storage space for laundry products.
There are seven presets on the LG WM-2277HW including permanent press, delecates, hand wash, sanitary, soaking, and cotton. Although this is slightly less than other machines in its price range, the seven presets are more than adequate for the average family. There are also five temperature levels and the water level is adjusted automatically depending on the laundry load.
The electronic controls on the LG WM-2277HW are clearly labeled and easy to use. This washing machine comes with standard dispensers for fabric softener and bleach and there is also a detergent dispenser.

Deleteafter seven years, had to replace the Main Control Board, after another 5 years, it just went out again (Not draining pump was fine) and with it, the other control board.

ReplyDeletestill have mine after 13 years, still running but retirement is close bearings are shot in the washer and they are froze to the drum, no matter how hard i hit the spline with my heavy maul it wont come loose oh well parts on the hoof, will go out and buy another one today. dont know how well they,re built these days but the matching dryer is still going strong!

My washer has worked perfect for 10yrs, but i have had to now replace the door seal due to smell, it now has a small internal leak, and the drum bearing is shot (very noisy). I guess i will be replacing it, and hauling it to the curb, its a shame. The matching dryer still works like a charm.
ReplyDeleteLG Washer WM2277HW is a good large capacity washer. I bought it new about 9 years ago. It is used almost daily. We have replaced parts for the hot water twice and the cold water once. Now the dial to select the washing mode doesn't always work. After two days of trying to reset the computer system by unplugging he machine a few times, it finally worked. Overall, this has been a good washing machine, however, I don't think it is going to last 20 years like my previous Whirlpool.
